Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of VeriFix (the "Service"). By accessing or using VeriFix, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
VeriFix aggregates public news from trusted sources, groups related events into Living Stories, and applies AI to summarise, translate, and surface verification signals such as confidence scores, sources, contradictions, and timelines. VeriFix is an informational tool and is not a substitute for professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) to create an account.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service to break the law, harass others, or infringe rights.
- Do not scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content, or attempt to bypass rate limits.
- Do not submit malicious URLs, malware, or attempt to attack the Service.
- Do not misrepresent VeriFix output as independent human editorial verdicts.
Content and intellectual property
Story summaries and verification analyses are generated from public sources. Original publishers retain all rights to their headlines, articles, and media; VeriFix links back to them and displays only limited excerpts for context. VeriFix owns the platform, design, and derived analysis. You retain rights to content you submit via the Fact-check tool and grant us a non-exclusive licence to process it to deliver the Service.
AI-generated content
Verified summaries, translations, and confidence scores are produced by AI models and may contain errors, omissions, or biases. Always check the linked primary sources before acting on any story. See the AI Disclosure for details.
Availability and changes
VeriFix is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, change, or remove features, and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the Service.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VeriFix disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. VeriFix and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.
Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence to the extent required by local consumer protection law; otherwise, by the laws applicable to the VeriFix operator.
