Cookie Policy

VeriFix uses cookies and similar browser storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and — with your consent — measure how the product is used. You can change your choices at any time in Settings → Privacy.

Essential (always on)

• Authentication: session tokens issued by our auth provider so you stay signed in securely.
• Preferences: theme (light/dark), locale, region, and reading-depth settings.
• Security: CSRF and abuse-prevention tokens.

Functional

Remember dismissed banners, recent searches, catch-up progress, and last-read positions so the app feels continuous across visits.

Analytics (opt-in)

When you enable analytics, we record anonymised events (page views, feature usage, error counts) to improve reliability and prioritise fixes. No advertising identifiers or cross-site tracking are used.

Marketing

VeriFix does not currently set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this page and request explicit consent first.

Managing cookies

Use Settings → Privacy in VeriFix to toggle analytics and functional cookies. You can also clear all VeriFix storage from your browser's site settings — clearing storage will sign you out and reset preferences.
